7-Zip is a file archiver and an open source application. It provides high compression ratio for zip and GZIP formats, which is between 2 to 10% better than others archivers. 7-Zip is a powerful compressing tool and it allows users to compress files and reduce the Size of their files. 7-Zip has easy to understand interface and its compressing and decompressing speed is very fast, But mostly it depends on how many sizes of data are being compressed or decompress. 7-Zip also includes file manager so users can easily find files or folders. 7-Zip supports packing and unpacking for 7z, XZ, Zip, TAR, BZIP2, GZIP, WIM and it supports unpacking for ISO, LZH, LZMA, ARJ, CAB, MSI, WIM and many more. It can be used from a command line interface, graphical user interface or with window based shell integration. 7-Zip provides all Advance features that should have an advance file archiver but it does not have a virus scanner and repairing tool and sometimes it puts pressure on system resources.
